These paintings are created from photographs taken by me during my travels. I use the photos as reference material. I then compose a new image by removing distracting elements and paint new features using digital brushes in Painter, a software program that allows me to paint directly on my 21" Wacom display with a pressure sensitive stylus. I then print high resolution Giclee' prints on   Epson Legacy Etching archival quality 100% cotton fibre paper with a textured matte finish.  This paper simulates the touch and feel of old world artist etching pads and handmade paper but with the advantage of current technological improvements. It has an industry leading microporous inkjet receptive layer that produces deep, rich blacks (Dmax), expanded color gamut and gentle tonal gradations and will provide outstanding image permanence and durability.   Images ship with a digital double mat to eliminate the need for expensive matting.
